Sally McGraw is a Minneapolis-based freelance writer, editor, ghostwriter, and blogger. She holds a creative writing degree from Binghamton University and spent ten years working in the book and magazine publishing industry before striking out on her own in 2011. In addition to writing her popular style and body image blog, Already Pretty, she has published a body-positive style guide for women and has a second book on style and body image for teen girls due out in spring of 2017.
McGraw spent nearly a decade working as a personal stylist, currently writes a monthly style column for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and contributes body image articles to the Huffington Post. She helps other writers find their voices through her ghostwriting and editorial work. In her free time, she co-chairs the Midwest Feminist Brain Trust, scours eBay for secondhand fashion finds, and attempts to entertain her two kooky cats.
